DANGERS OF WHITE LED STREET LIGHTS (BLUE LIGHT RICH)
John Mc Hagan from Publc Health England asserted that the white-led lights used for street illumination that replaced the incandescent bulbs are known to be an issue for health because of the possible high content in blue light which leads to retinal damage and also because of the high frequency of switching on and off (flickering) which could be as high as 100 times per second causing headaches, migraines and feelings of malaise in sensitive people.
